How does the compression work?

Pikkx uses jSquash WebAssembly codecs — the same algorithms used by professional image tools. You control the quality slider to balance file size and visual quality. The processing runs entirely in your browser's Web Worker for fast, non-blocking performance.

What's the maximum file size?

Free tier supports images up to 5 MB each, with up to 10 images at a time. The upcoming Pro tier will support files up to 50 MB and unlimited batch sizes.

Can I resize images for different screen sizes?

Yes. Pikkx includes three built-in viewport presets (mobile, tablet, desktop) so you can generate responsive image variants in one step. Custom viewport sizes are coming in the Pro tier.
